Albert Nađ (Serbian Cyrillic: Алберт Нађ, (ハンガリー語:Nagy Albert); born October 29, 1974) is a Serbian former footballer of Hungarian ethnicity. ==Playing career== Nađ was first spotted in 1992, when he played 25 games in his first season with Partizan. He had been regarded as a player with a "lion's heart", as the Serbian football press liked to call it. Nađ was one of the best players at the Partizan Stadium. Albert held the honor of being Partizan's youngest captain ever (age 19) until he was surpassed by Stevan Jovetić who became captain in January 2008. Until 1996 he became one of the most reliable and steady players and a move abroad was the most logical next step in his career. At Real Betis, Nađ made 56 appearances during his two years at the Lopera stadium, before he was signed by Real Oviedo. The first two seasons in Oviedo, Nađ played 43 league games, but in 2000 he was transferred to the bench. Before returning to Serbia, he nevertheless had a pretty good “farewell season” at Oviedo, playing 24 games as a first team regular. Nađ made further 192 league appearances for Partizan and scored 11 goals. His "never give up" mentality was a realistic picture of his skills and qualities, what made him a regular in Partizan's team, since he re-joined the "crno-beli" in 2002. On August 9, 2007, Nađ and Russian side Rostov agreed to a contract that tied the 32-year-old player to the club until the end of the Russian Premier League season in December 2007. At the time of Nađ's signing the club was already in a bad position with slim chances of avoiding relegation. Rostov got relegated at the end of the Russian league and Nađ went back to his country Serbia where he signed with Čukarički in mid-January 2008. On May 30, 2009 he played his last professional match in the last round of the 2008–09 Serbian Superliga season, and of course, it was against Partizan. Nađ continued to be a fan-favorite of the Grobari even when he was on the opposing side as they cheered ''Albert is the only captain'' throughout the course of the match.
